Isabel Wilkerson to Speak at UD Speaker Series Event

Isabel Wilkerson is the 2011 runner-up for the nonfiction award of the Dayton Literary Peace Prize for her best-selling book The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration. In 1994, she won a Pulitzer Prize for her New York Times pieces on the rural heartache of the Midwest floods and a profile of a 10-year-old boy on the South side of Chicago. A book signing will follow her talk.

The event is free and open to the public. No tickets required. Parking is available in C and P lots only. Parking in any other campus lot requires a permit.
